My rating- 5/5 stars

Summary:

At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.

Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbour, Ridge. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

A passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance, Maybe Someday will immerse readers in Sydney’s tumultuous world from the very first page.

My thoughts:

While reading this book:

I LOVED this book. I'd heard a lot about Colleen Hoover and wanted to read some New Adult so i finally decided to read this one as it's one of her most recommended books.

Let's just say this book ripped my heart right out of my chest.
The writing was beautiful and poetic; i say poetic literally because there are song lyrics within the book.

It's not just a book, it's an interactive process. The author has really worked hard to make the experience a memorable one by making  an actual playlist of songs that feature in the book. Listening to them while reading those parts just... YASSS!

If you love music and you love romance, i suggest you make a trip to the bookstore real soon.

This is not your typical Boy meets Girl, Girl meets Boy, they fall in love, end of story. Oh no. This one has got some deep undertones to it.  A lot of issues are dealt with. The main characters have a lot going on and are not perfect in any way. Yet, through all the mess, they find something beautiful growing between them. Something they can't ignore.

Is the book cheesy? In some places.

Is it a cliched story? Hell no.

SHOULD YOU READ IT? YES!
